Hi Lulu, a story which pretty much resembles how my wife and I met. The best part is that distance was what spurred us on and did everything we could to meet and to stay together.
Nothing is impossible!
Thanks very much for sharing your thoughts!

My boyfriend and I are a young couple I'm a 19 years old African lady and he is a 22 years old Spanish gentleman. We are both still students in our countries.

I met him is Spain when I was working there as an Au pair. During my stay in Spain he was my only friend, He would take me out sight seeing around his town Barcelona and take me to the best restaurants with amazing traditional Spanish food he would go all out just so I would have a great time in his city, of which I did, but my best part was simply being around him no matter what it is we did or where it is we went. I felt like I was living a fairy tale with this young gentlemen. days had come and gone and it was time for me to go back home to South Africa. This was the saddest part. He exported me to the Airport where we had our last meal together and a reminiscing session. he was of great help and support to me.

The saddest part had arrived when it was time for me to board. Deep down my heart was bursting in tears... knowing that I was about to leave behind the man I really care for and love. I could not stop looking into his beautiful eyes, hugging him and kissing him. it was just impossible... but as a man he had to do. We then took our last hugs and kisses and slowly I walked into the boarding area of the Airport and inside the boarding area I could still see him and all we did was smile at one another. Before I departed he called me to make sure I was safe and promised to keep in Touch of which he has been doing.

Deep down I knew this was not the last time seeing him so I promised him I would study hard and get a part time job where I would make a little more pocket money to save. Until today we still chat to one another, send each other some pictures and mails.

I have never been so determined and inspired to work hard and be a better person in my life.

Hi there, just changed into aware of your weblog thru Google, and found that it's truly informative.
I'm going to watch out for brussels. I will be grateful should you proceed this in future. Numerous people will probably be benefited out of your writing. Cheers!

Comment on A city for international couples? Why not Budapest! by Tony

Hi Magda and thanks for commenting on the post!
I agree that salaries are quite low in Hungary. It is always a good idea that you should evaluate the situation as a complex and judge it dispationately: salaries are lower than in other countries but so are the prices or flats and houses. A number of opportunities are also represented by multinational companies like IBM, Ericsson and the likes. Also, a good aspect to consider is that Hungary is quite close to Poland.
For certain professions, English speaking countries are a step forward if you consider salaries and job opportunities but they are overcrowded too.
A couple of friends of ours both decided to quit their well paid jobs in Hungary and went to the UK. They both managed to get better paid jobs within a year.
I guess it all depends on what you want and on what you want to sacrifice.
Keep us posted!

I have a Hungarian boyfriend, though I live in Poland. The job market is quite poor right now and the salaries are on a low level in Hungary. I couldn't find any decent job in Bp, and neither could my man in Poland. We are thinking of an English speaking country where we would both have chances to live successfully.
